Awesome job Bloodshot! Stepping into Highmaul for the first time we managed to down 1 heroic, 2 normal (I want to say 3 normal bosses cause Blizzard flawless programming too strong on Tectus) bosses in 3 hours. Really happy with that.

Fritzy managed to FRAPS some of the fights and has kindly edited and uploaded the videos to youtube you can view yourself in 1080p glory here:

IMPORTANT:

Highmaul Raid opens Dec 2nd which is just under 2 weeks. Understandably this is not a lot of prep time for those that have IRL commitments. Instead of starting the Thursday of that week (Dec 4), our first raid will begin on the Sunday (Dec 7) from 5pm-8pm PST. This gives everyone who has read this message a little over 2 weeks to get their toon ready for raiding -- the requirements will be listed below.

Raid Requirements:

  • Average equipped ilvl of 630 or higher (attained from running Heroic Dungeons and the 680 ring awarded by the Legendary questline)

  • ALL equipment is gemmed and enchanted properly

  • Knowledge of Highmaul raid boss fights from having read strategies or watched videos (will be provided on this site)

  • Have a stock of flasks and potions ready that are appropriate for your class/spec

  • Read and understand the looting system which is located HERE and at the top of the page under #JustLootThings

  • Read, understand and agree to the side bar of Raiding Expectations located on this page

Fritzy has kindly offered to help make flasks and pots for everyone as long as you send her the appropriate mats. I'm too lazy to edit her grammatical and spelling errors so here's a nice cut and paste of her 'services':

Fritzy:

hey guys,

I usually help provide people with Flasks and Pots for raiding, this expansion everyone is responsible for providing their own and since you probably have a bunch of shit in your bags from leveling that you are debating selling I'll let you know what you should keep an eye out for.

POTS -  every pot requires 1 crescent oil which is made by 3 crescent saberfish flesh.

each pot then requires another material

Agility - Raw Talbuk Meat

Strength - Raw Boar meat

Armor - True Iron Ore x 3

Intellect - Abyssal Gulper Eel Fish x 3

Channeled mana pots - Raw Clefthoof Meat

Mana Pots - Blackwater Whiptail x 3

I Fritzadin has all these recipes if you need any I would be happy to make them for you, just make sure you send all the mats to Her.

Flasks - are a bit more tricky.

There are 2 levels of flasks the first is 200 + stats the second is 250 + stats.

Level 1:

Agility - Crystal Vial, 4 x fireweed

Strength - Crystal Vial, 4 x arrowbloom

Intellect - Crystal Vial, 4 x starflower

Stamina - Crystal Vial, 4 x Talador Orchid

Level 2:

Agility - Alchemical Catalyst x5, Sorcerous Water x 1, Draenic Agility Flask x 5

Strength - Alchemical Catalyst x5, Sorcerous Fire x1,  Draenic Strength Flask x 5

Intellect - Alchemical Catalyst x5, Sorcerous  Fire x1, Draenic Intellect Flask x 5

Stamina - Alchemical Catalyst x5, Sorcerous Water x1, Draenic Stamina Flask x 5

Shoopdoop has picked up the Int and Strength Flasks and roofalin will be picking up the Agility and Stamina flasks. Neither of us would mind making anything you need just make sure you send all the Mats that are required to either of us.
